VP of Electricity and Regulation at the Electricity Authority, Israel
Mr. Oz Levi was appointed for the VP for Electricity and Regulation in the Electricity Authority as of November 2020. Levi’s division is responsible for regulation of the electricity of the private sector in Israel in various aspects, including economics, engineering and planning of the electricity market. Levi is in charge of bills and principles formulation, promoting legislation, licensing as well as long-term planning, policy issues and more, dealing with a variety of factors within and outside the government.
Prior to that, Levi was Head of the Regulation Division in the Authority. Levi joined the Electricity Authority in 2013 after gaining extensive experience in Bank of Israel, where he began his career in 2005 as a referent.
Levi hold a Master in Economics from Tel-Aviv University.
